I got out this morning for the 2nd test run. I still need to make some changes but it was handling much better. 88 is not 2 bad for the 2nd run. Well, 88 is what the gps said.

I think this topic has ran it's course. Its pretty easy to make a fair assesment based on the information already given in this thread. Anyone who hasn't listened to you up to this point isn't going to start now John.
I think the people who are able to objectively look at information have done so, and the rest aren't going to change.

Where did your COG end up on your last run? I know I asked this once but I dont think I got a response. I dont really care where you are measuring it from, just something to comparitively reference. I have the same hull I am getting ready to maiden... unfortunately I dont have the same weather, so Im sidelined at the time.

I can give you a starting point of 13 from the rear or 10.25 from the rear tunnel. I need more testing. When i get it at 100% i will tell you. This hull is a challenge to figure out.

And this is why I'm back into FE Boats.. lot's of passionate people that really care about our sport and this is the kind of conversation that's made it was it is today. 20 years ago our boats didn't run nearly as quick but thanks to a little technological advancement and A LOT of passion here we are today racing boats up to 81mph. I said dont rely on what is GPS information for assumptions. Its burnt more speed freaks like myself and him then one can conceive. I also stated he had the fastest HOR cat I have ever seen. Its not that he is exaggerating. All of us use GPS to improve our setups. For that purpose GPS works. To make the statement that I can achieve a quotable known factual speed? From a WAAS GPS? Dont speak stupid or stupid you will be judged.

Quoting some number that inflates your ego doesnt make it factual. It means you believe something applicable only to you. Call yourself special and you expect the rest of us to accept that? Who the hell do you think you are? I'm done with this. Critique me and call me an idiot cause you dont comprehend how GPS really works. You got some nerve. Now go get a job where you can prove your opinion is accepted as a professional practice within industry standards.

No they are not. Its a person such as yourself that doesnt research this class of information that passes along this typical BS misinformation.! Get off your AZZ. Do a search function of GPS using accuracy as your filter. Then look at the information that pops up! Then take 30 or 60 minutes and read COMPLETELY what is displayed on your screen with the 30 or more links! If your not smart enough to comprehend what has been presented for data then ask the questions you dont understand. Its not rocket science. I dont work for NASA. And I cant tell you who I do work for. But I sort of know GPS. At least more then you do by your comments. Stop spewing crap when you are uninformed!

The truth doesnt lay in your comprehension of the way things work. There is your opinion and the way the real world works. Speak facts to me. Cite me a software data adjustment or factual manufacturer data sheet indicating an accuracy reading greater then 85% in less then 2 seconds. Your not going to find it. There is no single receiver software algorithms using precise DOP. Know what that is? Dilution of Precision? A degradation of accuracy over time?

This is such a waste of time. Preaching about speed measurement accuracy when the readers dont even know the variables? Become informed. Learn how the technology works. Argue about the system capabilties knowing how it works, not the limited experience you have with a system.

I can tell you that diego and john are the last two to hate. You know im the 1st one to tell everyone to let howard run his boat but these two member aint hating. I believe howards gps. Theyre just telling you that gps can be at times inaccurate at others not so much. Howard wats nex? Where do you go from here to hit 90?

The boat is ready, im just waiting for a break with this wind. I want all of you to see this boat run on charged batteries. I will bring a new video asap.
