No special prop work, no hull mods as far as ride surface or aerodynamics. Level strut , spin prop fast forward weight and watch it fly. My boat you refer to may only be running 70s but will also take a turn at that speed. A little more impressive IMO. Not to mention run that way in the chop. All full now troll? I'm having problems with my steering wheel it seems we are getting off course. lol

Mike tried something and it worked. Its not just the esc but the motors are at like 57,000 rpm and are still in 1 piece. We all know this is only good for 3 or 4 runs and that is all mike is looking to go. I'm happy for him and hope to see the vid of a 100+.

Howard wants to talk about drive shafts guys ! There are many diffrent types of drives right ? Wich is best ? What will put the most power to the prop , what type will be hard on a motor , wich have less drag , wich have less rotating mass , what type has gone the fastest , liner or no liner , .150 or .187 , ........................... the truth is they all can work good...... I have a prefrance to a style of drive that happens to be un popular, but it works for me ! I cant see the logic in thrusting with the motor.....Does a drag boat , car , comercial vehicle, dragster or a jeep thrust with its driveline ? I bet all these vehicles or vessil would handle diffrently and break more often if they did.... This is all the thought i need to justify the type of drive that i use.

So what is your belief? Do you like the two piece drives with the seperate shaft and square drives? I remember reading some discussion about this in one of your threads but I dont remember what you like to use. I know its thrusting at the transom but with what setup?

Engineers dont say "lets see" they design simulate then build they have a good idea on paper what "It will do" before build it.

Engineers may not say "lets see" at the start but after all the calculations and simulation there is also a time when WE test things to destruction to see if the actual figures stack up. If so then our formulae are proven if not then we revist the formula or the QC of the product.

is definately not the logic of an engineer as the t180 cannot handle 200 amps continuously and you wont get an esc for its price that can. Thats why I reccomend all boaters to learn for themselves and read coz you get led astray simply coz someone wants to disprove a member .
