I'm going to go over my hardware. 187 drive shaft into 9/32 tube and then i need to reduce it twice, 1st is a 1/4 that is 1/2 inch long and then a 7/32 that is 1" long. This is how i got this tubing to fit the strut. You will need to drill out the rear strut bushing so the 7/32 will fit. I like to run the 187 teflon liner with turning 50000 rpm. I just think there might be some vibration at that rpm if there is a space between the shaft and the tube.

what is the height of the strut, at same level with bottom of sponsons?

I run it so the bottom of my strut is at the bottom of the sponson. Less resistance, more speed. You just need to run a little bigger prop then normal.

Hey Randy ! For informational purposes to the vewers of this thread , cans you state some important class regulations for a SAW class Howard would need to be in for a 32'' ? This is where SAW classes become chalenging when your voltage limitations come into play !

Just FYI
There is no minimums on size (except LSO,LSH) only maximums size restrictions for certain cell counts.
Up to 27 inch with a 2S2P boat 10000 milamp max.
up to 34 inch with a 4S2P boat 10000 milamp max.
Up to a 40 inch hull with a 5S2P to 6S2P boat 10000 milamp max.
up to a 60 inch hull with 8S2P to 10S2P 12000 milamp max.

It looks like you are having fun Howard. You need to go to the SAW's and see what your average times are. I have hit low to mid 90ties on the GPS and at the SAW's my fastest pass was 88MPH.

Fast 32, If i lighten the front it might cause a flip at this speed.

True.....i flipped that boat in bad water and broke it into many bits now am working on v2 now have just finished putting all the running gear in it....and am now custom building a ball bearing strut 4 it...hopefully in the next few week i will get it in the water....im hoping for 75-80mph now ive seen what you have done it has made me want more...but like all fe boater's we all want more speed....

Well done Howard...That's off the hook mate.....Here i was thinking my hotr 32" was fast at 112kph but your is just amazing dude...From what i can see in the vid the hull sit's very flat on the water you might want to mod the hull a bit underneath to give it a bit of lift so it becomes a little lighter on the water... i did it to mine and it made a huge difference... cheers Paul

Ok, i changed the cog and put some negative tilt in my prop angle. This 32 rides the water almost level. Prop angle I'm sure some of you knew i need to do this.
