X450 on 5s with a 1600kv 4082 and 7.5* timing gets me 55 mph and runs long and cool. X450 3-blade gets me 57 with a bit more heat but still very acceptable temps and run time.

The x452 ran to hot and short for me on the above set up and lost speed at 54. Batts were 153, esc was 143, and motor was 120. Sticking with the x450 keeps my batts at 135, my esc at 115, and my motor at 110. The 3 blade increased temps by 10* across the board.

    ...hope that helped.

this is my boat!! its a hull that came from the first batch that proboat has made, well i think.. the hull was is a big crah end i had to rebuilt the front of the boat. has you can see i had to put carbon fiber in to repair the boat too.. the rear of the boat has been redone too. the turn fine and the strut are the same and the are at the same place as the stock boat. but the rudder is a spartan upgrade from another place them ose and it has been cut. its was too long for the voracity.. twin water pick-up and i have replace the outlet far in front so i can see the water coming out easily. that is my x646/3 blade on it. i use 2 pack of smc lipo 6s 3600 mah for a total of 7200 mah. i will put gps result when i have a chance to run on a flat water condition. my motor is a leopard 4082 1800 kv, i have put my receiver into a spartan water proof box and cover it with liquid tape. my esc is the OSE 150*!**amp ESC and to tell you the truth, in 4s setup, my motor have too much kv for that esc. i will change the motor and esc soon.. i will put a SF 220 amp ESC and a leopard 4092 1730 kv. that should be good to run at 70 mph and plus with no heat problem in 6s setup..

Thanks fellas, guess I'm starting with my OSE s&b X645 ... means not having to sharpen stock prop and still give me a good baseline :) I'm going to bring my x447/2 with me also just to try as well. I wonder how well my boat would work if I used my "edf jet style" 6s 7700mah 70c thunder power lipos I just got in the mail lol, bought them brand new on ebay super reasonable as a store was closing out :) to good a deal to pass up but they are the large square type basically two 6s 3850mah packs in parallel for 7700mah total .... you gents think they'll be to heavy? I will bring my 5800mah 30c zippy 3s packs along with me too... got a bunch of new ones of those also as been running them in my zelos.

Oh and thanks gents didn't have time to do all the research and going to be on water tomorrow so wanna bring it along lol... Bullet 5.5's have now been installed too!

The stock Voracity is equivalent to the Octura 645 !

Thanks Fellas, ran the Voracity yesterday approx. 8 times :) The X447 was a good all around performer, but the abc 1814 / 17 was the prop I used for most of my running. The Struts little collet retainer kept slipping forward ironically, and out of the box the flex tube was not line up properly, had to actually groove out the motor mount to slide it into alignment better... has anyone else had that little collet on the front of the strut keep coming loose? Guess I need to Loctite it on. Also on my last run had a 45 ish mph stuff into the water and the canopy folded Can be fixed easily as it cracked around the rear tightening nut and the front rods but didn't crack enough that it shows its ugly head on top of the canopy and its painwork, will reinforce this week. Anyway overall was fairly happy with the boat... handles well, everything stayed reasonably cool... going to do some more tinkering this week with it, no gps but I'd say with the abc 1814 high 50's is what I saw speed wise.

good boat, and like all boats.... you wanna go fast on water you gots to pay to play!

Seems larger then a x645, have one of those... side by each the stock prop actually looks very similar in pitch and size as the x447 ironically, I may be wrong but the x645 I have that is a OSE done prop looks smaller for sure and more pitch then the stock PB prop, x447 looks near identical... but again this is not a scientific method pure looking at them side by each

The prop i run and prefer for my voracity is the Octura X447/3 ! I got my best speed with and for all around bashing , the boat goes very good !!! IMO , better than the stock prop ! I tryied the 2 blades too .
