Nice work Frank, really awesome!!!

Here is my "2nd" machine. small home made job by me. Cutting better than my commercial machine at work. Has a cutting area of 405x655mm but it fits on my desk.

Looks really nice that machine!:-) whish I could have one! Sorry guys, not really that much progress. I cut the CF tray, and it came out very good. Only think is that I think its too small, so I will make a larger tray with the same design. Hopefully I'll get the CF for it soon! Other than that I am drilling the water inlet holes as right now, will post some pictures of it later. Oh and Kent, I got the servo links the a few days ago. They look very goood!!

Okey, almost done with the water inlets! For now glued in with 5min epoxy, but they will get some slow curing soon! Came out pretty good i think..

Looking really nice Frank!! the inlets seem to be in the perfect spot too. take your time with the "teardrop" cut, don't rush it. It only looks good if you get it right the first time :) hehe

Frank, you are building one very nice boat there!
I must say, I'm a little green eyed as my build has stalled due to life, work and so on...
I might get some time on it this weekend but we'll see???

Yeah I think the placement was very good. They should pick up some water! I used your numbers from the 115 build. 15.5 mm from the back, and 7mm in on the ridepad. What tool would you sugest for the teardrops? I'm thinking my multitool with something like this:

Hmm you can maybe use the 2nd from right, but I would use a straight tool for sharpening chainsaw blades. 3/16 size.

The longer ones work better also I can only recommend barbing your brass pickup tubes. Just take next size up brass and cut a 4-5 mm long piece and solder or use loctite 638 to glue to top of pickup this way there is a lip for you to slide water colling line over then ziptie on without worring about them coming off. I just lost my two schulze's by failure to do this 10 min step

Thanks for the advice guys:-) they are done now, and I went with my electric tool and a strait toolbit. You can see it on the picture.. Did the final adjusment by hand with a similar toolbit. Came out pretty good. And it will be pinted with some white spray..

Looks great nice and neat. You might need to cut teardrop a tad longer and testors white enamel # 1145 white. It matched the gelcoat perfect

Got a few more things done today. Made some CF suporting brackets for the spacers that hold the esc/servo tray. They should give some additional glue surface.

Also wraped the brass tubes for the flexes with some CF, and if looks pretty good:-) they will be mounted later today!
