If u look closely you can see the epoxy under deck. I first used some CA glue just to temporarily set them. Once I checked they were all ok I then used thickened black epoxy to fully secure them.

All of it is looking very good:-) very happy with the result, but no doubt, its going to take some time, patient and planning to get it applyed nicely!

Yeah man she looks awesome I think the hardest part of building my hpr was the vinyl and it was a quarter of what yours is lol

Haha, naa don't think i wanna cut them.. That was my original plan, but looking at it now I see why I dident:-)

Some small progress here. Have bent the brass tube for the flex, so next up is glueing it in with silicone..

One question, is the teflone supposed to be fastened in any way, or should it just float free?

umm Silicone?
Im guessing you will be gluing the stufing tubes in with a stuffing tube support? getting the cable to spin freely so there is no friction/grinding. Maybe loosen the collet on the motor so you can spin the whole drive by hand. I guess when that all sets you can use a bit of black Silicone where the drives exit the hull to waterproof. The stuffing tubes have atleast 1 support close to the motor collet :)

Teflon liner can float free ( it sorta won't)

Hehe I might have been a bit unclear there. I will use a stuffing tube support near the motor, and silicone to stabilise and waterthight at the drives, like you said:-) oh and thanks for the advice on teflone:-)

Only place I put silicone is on the end.of brass where it slides into the back of drive and maybe a little on back of rudder flange.
