I am not totaly sure about how I'm gooing to solve the two bolts that are to sequre the back of the hatch. But this might be an alternative... Using red anodized countersunk bolts and washers, and they will blend nicely into the red spirit of norway theme.. What do you think??

Maybe loose the washer frank and just countersink into the hatch? You can use a red screw?

That might be a possibility.. I think that was what chris did on his 115 build, and that came out nice. Kind of like the look of those washers, but they can be a bit big... hmmm this needs some thinking through before I make any major decisions=)

You're right, they look good!!! But they are a bit big? Maybe smaller ones? And if they were recessed into the hatch and flush?

I think it´s going to be hard to recess them into the hatch, at least with a good look. Then I would rather go with just the screws.. Not sure how to do that with a good finish. Maybe Chris can chime in when he gets the chance, and tell me how he did it=)

Just spoke to Chris, he'll post some close ups for you. I would also suggest a 1mm neoprene around the lip to hold tight and act as a shock damper.

Put a pice of cf plate under hatch then flood with epoxy but make a wooden dam so epoxy doesn't flood away

I did 6 countersunk screws in total. I can promise you that is all u need. I has multiple crashes that were super hard, & my hatch didn't move at all.

Thanks mate, that looks good.. I´ll do some thinking and figure out what I want for my build=) I can imagine 6 screws will do the job. In my case I´ll be going for two screws and two carbon fiber lips at the front! Hopefully that will do the job too!

Yup 6 screws will do it but if I were u I would use the two tabs in front and 4 bolts two in middle and two in back

Okey, I´ll give that some thought=) Btw, how did you secure the nuts inside the hull?
