I imagine that an outrunner will have bigger amp spikes due to the additional rotating mass.It took alot to hit those numbers with my TP 4082's.
I actually just went over the ET log and on that takeoff it held over 80 amps for 4 seconds.

Thanks my good man,I didn't really expect it to launch quite like that.

I'm in the low 40's with a 3 degrees negative on the drives, and she is smooth.
I expect I'll have to try the negative on the stingers with how quick it was to blow over. If I stay with this setup I'll go with smaller props too.I think my first "gut feeling" to not run the 447's was right for these motors.I'll just go easy on the next time out.

For the most part I run 33 to 35% in the cats I've built. But, I'm not running high speed saws though.

I hadn't actually checked my CG before going out and probably would have moved the batts up a bit more.I may have to add more tray up there.

I attribute some of this to my lack of experience with setup and my rushing between storms. That amp pull that I wrote about didn't occur in my Shocker. But this boat is 1.5 lbs heavier.

OK guys,a bit O' time here and there and one T-600 is in and gonna start on the second. They are a little tight. And my 6mm FC collets are a alot tight on the shafts of the motors.A little tweaking and they go though.I have time this weekend finally but the weather has passed.

I'm definitely looking forward to you getting her back on the water. Were you ever able to have someone dive for
the Shocker? Tragic! The ponds and small lakes here in Ontario are just starting to ice up.
I know the weather in BC is a bit milder, but if I were you I'd rent a Newt suit and get her back on the surface.

Hope the weather will clear for you to run the Komodo w/ T-600's and raise the Shocker from the deep! Good Luck bud!

I decided to post a couple of pics of the new arrangement to gain interest here.So here is the "bigger" T-600 in there

And the Swordy arrangement. One intake side is cooling 4 plates so that it can exit cleanly. This is the crossover tube

And this is the rear with the new servo.Trying a Hitec "waterproof".Sure seems to be working to do the rudder though,it may not make it to the water.

I don't care much about the rain here now that it has warmed back up to 11 degrees celsius.Playing in the water at 5degrees sucks though.

                              Hey,
Thumbs up with them T600, They should sound very cool
And good luck hunting for the Shocker.
I am looking today for my x646/3 and shaft that broke off at the coupler,
That I was running on my 36" Shockwave a couple weeks ago.
It's in a 30' x 30' area and the water is three feet deep,
But only two feet visibility to bottom.
I will be using a 3' x 3" magnet on a rope in a inflatable raft and see if I get lucky.
                              ? ONLY IF THEY WORK

Good luck with the search for the prop. 30' x 30' is still a big area to search for a small prop. Hope you'll find it mate!
