I think I'll be running it this week.I got the hatch mounting done and tweaked the hatch.For the hatch I put some basswood ribs in it as it seemed to be sagging slightly.So a little heat with a hair dryer(thanks "tiq") in a jig got it set to where it should be.

Now I just have to glue my flex's and disassemble,clean,and reassemble.Plug everything in,and test.

Very nice. Yeah I just got done taking my Komodo hatch and cutting pool noodles to length to set upright in the hull such that they push up on the hatch when installed. I then heated the hatch up and taped it down into place. Ill appy heat to it over the next few hours, on the hour, and then leave it alone for a few days. if i untape it and it stays, Ill add another layer of 6oz or 2 layers of 4 w/ epoxy resin to help "lock" it into shape then set it back into place over teh foam again and let it sit a few more days.

I think maybe the hatches were pulled juuuuust a little too soon out of the mold and didnt have time to develop a memory? A bit "green" as some may say. All in all I still give the hulls a very good score. So far, Id purchase more or recommend them to fellow boaters. And seeing how it literally is an exact blow up of the MG, with the correct size rudder etc, I dont see how this will not be a bad a$$ boat.

And dont worry Shawn, I checked my supplies. I thought I had the skeg strut I need but I dont... so even if I got sneaky, it wont be done for a couple weeks.... Yes, I think Im going single as Ray is. 6S, Q class boat. Although, Bill is sometimes running a twin in Q now........

It looks to be handling good. I see you started with 5s, what are you going to work up to 8s. I can Waugh towhat this hill is capable of. Good job on the build and maiden run Shawn

Thanks guys,I'll mess around with it once we get some better weather,May perhaps.LOL I need to cinch a strap around sideways as well as length wise or maybe some foam or noodle.I'll look around.Those were just 3300mah 5s's and FC 445 props on that run.
