The boat club leases off the natives and the lake is still a mile in from the gate.

Yesterdays progress: I finished up making barbs on my tubes as I am running 4mm ID tubing

I installed the water outlets, tubes and antenna mount

        Got the tubes epoxied in

And this morning got the intakes cleaned up

Hopefully tonight I can glue the tabs for my hatch bolts/pins.

Hey Shawn have you ever ran that kind of water inlet? Just wondering how well it works. Looks like the build is coming along nicely. Looks good

              Im so proud of you

Jason, I run that kind of inlet on a lot of my boats. It doesnt flow quite as well as a rudder pick up, but still cools well enough to not worry about it. Ive got it on boats from 40 to 75 mph with no problems

Shawn kooks good, but just make sure when u do the water pickups to make sure the brass comes flat to the bottom of ridepad. Then you proceed to firm teardrop taking down the front of brass while leaving the back alone. You can even slichtly round the front of brass to help water enter. If tgese are done correctly they will perform flawlessly, and mine work better than rudder pick-up's. I hooe I explained this clearly if not let me know.

Thanks Chris,I studied yours and Kent's before attempting mine and I will be opening them a little with the new $20 Dremal bit.For now they are only cooling the ESC's but not sure about the future.Still keeping options open.

No prob, good luck. Do it little by little and dont press too hard. I used tape on each side of the bore incase the tool slips and scratch the hull.
