well Bill shot some video of the sniper today.

Still working out a few kinks - wants to hook in the center of the corner, but running strong

That's EXACTLY what my 47" did for the longest!!! I made a whole thread about spinning out. I have since gone to a longer setback rudder brace, the largest blade I could get that is not tapered, and a 300oz servo. Not as bad now but it still digs in at times.

The crazy thing is.............that Bill has the same hull as I do and his doesnt do it, he has no secret setup, I have asked about his Cog etc..............glad his works so well.

No GPS on that run but testing at my local pond I managed 63mph. It's handling better now and is a tic faster. I'll get the hookin deal sorted out, and already have a few ideas. It's already 150% better than when I started with it.

I had the same problem, I cut 1/2" of my rudder and rounded the bottom, relaxed the outside starboard trim tab and that stopped the front from plowing and causing the hook in the corners. 3080/7T 460/3 10S2P. Jay.

Temps were fine all around 110* running an X462. 10s would get 70 without a doubt

I trimmed the rudder and rounded it, relaxed the starboard trim tab and WHAALA...she turns real nice. Thanks for the tip Jaike5.

I loosened it up too much with the stinger height adjustment I'm gonna take 1* back out of it. I'm thrilled with the handling of the boat now, even though I did manage to flat spin the boat in the vid Bill got Sunday... just like a giant DF33, running this sucker is a blast

I gotta pay attention here. This is how my DF 35 is currently running and moving my batteries hasn't fixed it.At full speed it is like it's getting too much air under it.

If you got the boat turning like you want then you need to start cranking the trim tabs down. Both sides equally.
