Looks like it might be plowing a little. If you have tabs on it back off on them or shift some weight to the rear. What prop are you running? I use a X457/3 on my 47" mono with the same basic power setup.

Nope only 9s, and a X457 It still should be moving a little better.

Yea I noticed it was a little wet. I'll have to move the packs around.

My 47" PH mono moves pretty good on 9s. That's what I usually run in it. Running the same in my Falcon Cat and it moves pretty good too.

Thats what I thought too. The 2028 says 30,000 rpm max on the end bell... 9s is only 28,080 rpm unloaded at 4v a cell. I think 10s would be around 31,200 rpm and will be okay.

Originally I was using the CC HV200 but replaced it with a SF240 while the castle was out for the recall.

Yep ...SF 240 in mine too. I'm going to put it on the computer and check the throttle range. I picked up a Castle 240HV and might try it out to see any difference. I might need a cycle or two on these packs also. the packs I run in my P-Twin keep getting stronger it seems.

Well................I for one will give you kudo's on the results!! Runs very stable, sounds great, turns well and whether folks realize it or not, its alot faster than it looks...............keep in mind that its nearly a 4 foot long boat, they look slower in vid. You are running the perfect 10s prop though..........same one I run on 10s, actually your boat reminds me ALOT of mine, it's even yellow!

So, if you throw 10s in it, it'll get "up" a bit more, but it really doesnt look that wet to me as it is. You can also keep it 9s and run an x462-x465..................

It seems tO me like the 2028 should turn WAY more prop. I have ran that prop with a 1527. I don't own a 2028, so I'm just generalizing really, but it's a BIG motor! I used to run a modded x457 in a 39" df copy with a 2215 on 9s2p as well and I had speeds un the high sixties to low 70s.
Not trying to be negative as its a great build, I just think it has a lot of potential.

I just re-read and thought he was running an x457/3.................i guess its an x457/2. The prop I spin on 10s is the 457/3....................or the x460. I kinda like the x460 better now. If 9s is decided on then the x462-465 will be nice!
