Well I looked and I had a prather 55mm prop on it. I found a 60mm prop for a 1/4 shaft, and made some tubing shims to fit the 3/16 drive. It should be an improvement. I Also found 1 -2* of down angle I can take out of the stinger so I can lift the nose some. Looks like I'll have to order some props so I can get er dialed in

I have my Sniper at about 31% CG if that helps any and 10 cells on a 2028 is not going to harm it . the extra cell will give you an additional 6+miles per hour easyNecessity is the mother of invention.............

Well I managed to get a 63mph run out of the boat today but it was ugly. Every time I tried to give it alot of throttle, it would hook violently to starboard and torque steered so bad it was impossible to run in a straight line ???
I'm puzzled by this, and I'm wondering if it could be this hydro prop I put on it...blowing water so hard on the rudder that it made it useless as far as steering the boat ???
Ordered two new props for it X460, X462.

Rumdog I think yur right bud, the servo didn't seem to hold very well when I pushed on the rudder, it looks like the force of the water coming off the prop was moving the rudder - the more I put power to it the more it moved.
Thanks for the tip.

I've been busy with work but managed a few set up runs with this boat in the past few weeks, and it has improved alot. I added a 300oz 1/4 servo (holds now) and made a new rudder bracket to get the prop just past the back of the rudder and *WOW* is all I can say... I don't have video yet, but she was mid sixties wet (Still more in it) and driving like a big Cadillac SWWEEEEEETTT...

Don't forget to get a good still water shot so I can tie the build into the website projects page.

I'm running 9s...might have to order some more 5s packs for 10s. I'll try and get a few pics Bill, and I'll more than likely bring it with me to the next meet. I'm going to start a new fantasm build, and Ray has a bunch of pics up on his cheetah build too.
