I had the day off so I spent some time working on it. Had to put together a heavy duty 1/4 scale servo bracket.

This is a handy setup for drilling rails

I modified a kintek stuffing tube brace to fit 3/8 tube.

You are moving right along there B. It's coming along nicely.
I have a 90* head for my dremel that I use with a rotary "zip" bit for drilling rails. (and occasionally doing more intense "surgery")

It's easy to start rushing near the end to get her wet, take your time to finish her well and double check everything.................looks good.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE:

I'm not rushing you but you should bring it out Sunday if the cosmetics on the hull suit you. That way we can get a "cover shot" with it sitting in the water and get it added to the websites member projects page.

Yea, I can do that. Looking forward to seeing it in the water.I'm not rushing you but you should bring it out Sunday if the cosmetics on the hull suit you. That way we can get a "cover shot" with it sitting in the water and get it added to the websites member projects page.
Thanks, Chris.
There is always a new one...It saddens me no end that I had to abandon my 47" project.

I haven't spent much time on it lately, I have been working on and running other boats but I'm picking it back up again. I had to find some wax paper so I can finish the hatch.100_8110.jpg

working on the hatch some today. I've done this before with great results - using a peice of thin plywood coated with wax paper, two part foam in the lid and covering it with CF.

I had better luck last time too. I didn't have enough foam mix to completely fill it like I was intending, so I will get alittle more foam in it to complete it. Once it is flat, I coat it with finishing epoxy and a layer of CF. Once this stuff hardens it really shores up the lid - plus she floats !

I did my DF Explorer Cat this way and it worked out nicely shown behind in pic
