Area rear of sponson (red arrow) where the turnfin bracket is mounted needs to be square with conterline of hull before gluing. I use thin superglue for quick dry time then go back and use the thicker gap filling superglue for more strength. Wax paper is used between build board and model so glue will not stick to board.

This will extend my prop back even farther. This mono version has a 1/2" longer strut bracket. Lefthand Bottom edge of strut will be rounded off.

Today I sanded off all burnished areas that are to be super glued. Using 3M contact spray adhesive I glued 100 grit paper to flat MDF board and narrow 1/16" plywood strip. The narrow plywood sanding stick made easy work of tight places.

I received the kit today. I will build this one around the Hydra Ice ESC and larger Neu motor for the faster P Sport Hydro class.
Boat will be built very similar to my first build, but motor will be closer to stern.
