I'd like to know the actual weight, so if anyone is building one of these and has a chance to weigh one before starting, please post the weight here. It would be much appreciated.Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

I already tried that Jeff, it doesn't like two 4s batteries. Too much weight, so far the best running has been my single 5100 Magnum energy pack cross ways as far forward as I can get it. It gets a little over 5 1/2mins. till it hits LVCOriginally posted by Jlov View PostI just got some 5000mah 4S Gens Ace from Scott. I'm going to run them in parallel for some longer run times.

Ran the Popeye today on the single 4s 5300mah Gens Ace. It was a little rough out as lots of boaters today and I had to lay the Lipo lengthwise so boat was unbalanced. Here's a vid. My gf is still working camera so bare with a one min section in middle of video...lol

Looks Great!
How long can you run on one 5300mah ? I am curious as all my runs were done with 4s2p, was going to heed Doby's advice to run 4s1p, just never got around to do it yet.
Please ignore my previous ( deleted) post!Too many boats, not enough time...

I have a single Turnigy 4S 8000mah 30C that I'm going to try in my P-Sport Popeye.. Now that I have the new flex installed and can try more aggressive props, I'll probably need the bigger gas tank. The weight is less than going 2P with my 5800's. Hopefully it will be a good compromise...
