Wery nice handy mandy.
I had the first run since I cracked the front here the other day. Again, one pack ,and all the greez were gone ,and wather comming into the hull from the flex. Also, the servo locked up in the midle of the pond, in left turn position, so I managed to get it to shore by going in circkles about 100 times. I had a towel with me but the sun was down So I did not feel like swiming.I called it the day and whent home to play with my 1/16 Revo instead So I can't really tell if the BP of the bottom had any effeckt, still need to play with lipo placement.I have a poor video, will upload later.Drammen rock City

wilsta67, I can snap some shots of that. But I have slightly adjusted it since my last run and I havent tested this slight adjustment yet. I'll post these in a little bit.Originally posted by wilsta67 View Posthey JPriami ,
any chance you can take a few photos of your strut with the boat sitting on a flat surface?
i just want to see how yours is set up please.Land, Sea & Air, A true RC Addict.

Here are some pics of it right now. Its setup the same as in the last few vids of it running smoother except for I've added .022 of height above bottom of ride pads. Might be hard to see because my setup surface is clear. But I tried to take a few pics to show it.

I'm using 2x Turnigy 5500mah 30c lipo packs. So far so good with my 2150 kv. motor at 47,730 rpm. My 2,000 kv. motor yields 44,000 rpm.Originally posted by lectriglide View Posteco - what brand and mah packs are you running to get that 10 minutes? I'd like to increase my runtime since I'm closer to 5 minutes. Hope that motor lasts at 44,000 rpm unloaded. Thanks. OH and a vid is a must!

Your welcome. Let me know how that works out for you. I ran mine today and it did really well. But I only ran her on 5S then ran the other boat. I'll see what the camera caught when I get home tonight and maybe there will be a video ok enough to post.Originally posted by wilsta67 View Postthanks for that JPriami,
looking at your strut i now know why mine rides with the nose so far out the water. i haven't tried it lifted up that far!!Land, Sea & Air, A true RC Addict.

have you cut some off the back of the strut mount so the prop wont hit?Originally posted by JPriami View PostYour welcome. Let me know how that works out for you. i have lifted the strut on mine like yours and replaced the x442 with a p220 i had to trim a bit of the corner of the strut bracket to give the prop a bit more clearance.
wish this rain would bugger off so can go test it.

wilsta67, yes i have cut a good deal off the back of my strut. i also relocated the two holes that mount the offset rudder closer in towards the transom so i can cut the most off I could. has great clearance now plus there is less hanging off the back to get hit by prop spray.
Disregard the strut level/position in these pics of mine. just showing what i cut off.

After

here is a little vid from today. Just running 5S in this vid so its in the mid 50's range
