I changed mine was a pain in the butt. I removed the little metal hose ring held it in my hand started the new hose then stretched the hose to make it smaller while at the same time sliding the hose ring down the house. Took like 5ms just a pain, then I reattached the hose ring and put a dab of ca on the bottom around the ring. Hopefully that makes sense.

Cool i was thinking of removing the original stuff and gluing in a peice of brass tube so i can push on a peice of cooling hose on the top peice running to the rudder then push on the bottom peice from inside the hull, running to the esc that way the brass tube going threw the hull is water tight,,never remove it..

Those photo's are all looking great, looking forward to seeing what the really good camera will turn out, yeah the seaking 180 seems a cool ESC.

Just done the first few runs with mine and the 4074 Leopard 2200Kv going quite nicely.

Thanks for all the good advice i got here.

Here is the bushing I ordered. To use this you have to first remove both the 4mm bushings inside the stock strut. I used a new 3/16 drill bit and drilled dead center of the strut, the drill bit should lock itself inside the bushing then just keep the drill at a low pace and pull out, the bushing should come out with the drill bit. After removing both bushing measure and cut and the speedmaster bushing to the proper size and a dab of ca on the end to hold it in place. Should take about 10-15 minutes. The flexshaft, drive dog & 4-40 servo rod can all be located at Kintec racing.

I wish I would have video taped the first run, much better than the run in the youtube clip I have. O well.

Hey Jerry, for a temporary fix on that long cooling line, why not just disconnect at the rudder side and cut some tube off? That way you don't have to worry about yanking it out the hull.

Sounds good John and would work but i think its ugly also, was trying to make it look more prolike instead off looking cheap like it does,,i just saw a shinny nipple on Kintec that works like an water outlet but has nipples on both ends, slip it threw the hull and run the nut up on it then connect the two ends off cooling tube to it,,,sounds good to me..

Oh so you dislike the tube in itself. I was just thinking you had issue with the length, not the actual appearance of the tube. Gotcha now. That fitting looks like it would work pretty nice for what you wanna do.
