I only just saw this build for the first time and read through it . You've done some great work there. A sweet setup with those motors.
Should be a flyer on the water.

    Cheers.
    Paul.

This is an awesome place to learn and get help and be inspired!
I will post a video when I get time to go to the lake.

It does have a spacey alien look to it Tim, but it looks good .
Now get that 'work' done and get this in the water, got props to try, hehe.

Say, I never thought of the "Alien" look, good call, I had some Mystic decals, but now you just changed mind entirely...
Yes I hear you, will get this in the water when possible...

          How to interpret stinger attitude

I know what is positive, neutral and negative.
Question is how it relates to the set up board. The sponson has an angle of attack. So do I base my guideline relative to the board or the imaginary line parallel to the sponson axis? ( I can't come up with another term, sorry)
          DSCN7573.jpg DSCN7574.jpg DSCN7575.jpg

Another words, if I want neutral, then do I adjust the stingers parallel to the board or in a imaginary straight line with the attitude of the sponson?

          Thanks guys... much appreciated

I always use the setup board that way you have a constant easy reference point.

I'd go with the board as well.

The board will show how the boat 'should' be running on the water. You are correct to use it for a consistent reference.

And as a tip newly put into action by myself, keep track of your measurements on the board as you adjust and tweak. This way you will know where to set them for a given set of props in the future.

Thank you guys so much! It was one of those things that I began second guessing.
I appreciate very much for all yout input.
@Shawn, yes, i shall keep note of my measurements. Thank you!

Shawn, I did this because you mentioned the word "Alien look"...
As said, i was going to use the " Mystic Theme" but changed my mind. I am not good at air brushing , and I know of no local painter that can paint for me, so I usually end up with decal. Please don't laugh!
I went for simple lines and not too colorful. Here is a few shots:DSCN7619.jpg DSCN7608.jpg DSCN7617.jpg DSCN7629.jpg

Still got some finishing touches...rx has to go in, I need to use JB Weld to plug the water outlet on top of the rudder. I did that for the pick up holes but forgot to do the top...

That looks great Tim, the rudder standoff looks awesome back there. Not to mention the TRICK boat stand. I just may need to steal an idea or two from that as a couple of my boats will be travelling this year. We got a motorhome so look forward to more Beautiful British Columbia scenery in the background of the vids(better editing too perhaps). I digress.
                      Love the "Area 51".

Thanks Shawn! Couldn't have done it without your constant help! I should also mention all other people 's input as well.
I am rather gleefully pleased with the rudder standoff, now how will she swim in the water is anybody's guess... Will try to see if I can have a chunk of time to go to the lake...
Have a great trip in BC, wish I have a motor home, I travel to Wyoming every summer and always try to bring one or two boats, but I have a 4-dr. sedan and usually three people in the car, not much room for toys.
                        Enjoy your travel!
