A lot of soldering and shortening :DSCN7464.jpg DSCN7468.jpg
Supports for the water pick ups are being glued with JB Weld:DSCN7483.jpg, while I was waiting, I did the floating bushing per Shawn's suggestion: these are TFL 4mm stingers, used a drill bit to grab out the teflon bushing, 1/4" drill bit to enlarge the aluminum barrel, and Red Thread Loctite a piece of 1/4" brass tube, viola!DSCN7471.jpg DSCN7470.jpg

I wanted to use the fancy black tube but it is too stiff , ended up using regular fuel tubing.DSCN7505.jpg
      CF railings in place:DSCN7519.jpg DSCN7522.jpg DSCN7539.jpg , with stickers :DSCN7536.jpg

That's it for now, there are many little details that need attention, and i just realized that I have no props, maiden is a long way away ....

Looking good Tim, what size props are you thinking of starting with? I may have them to experiment with till you determine what is best. I could send a couple sets out and you send them back later.

Shawn, I owe much of this build to you, my friend. When I joined here, you were building twins and I watched many, many of your video and build threads. Thanks for all the help.
I thought I will start on the smallish size first, may be 40mm? and work up there. Certainly no more than 45mm. I had some counter rotating props but they are for 4mm shafts. Thank you for your kind and generous help. Will PM you to discuss later.
Realistically I won't get to maiden her for a while due to my work. I also need to epoxy down the battery tray and get the antenna mount as well as securing the ESC down. One of the water outlet tube is kinked due to the close proximaty of the ESC to the side ( starboard side) ,I was in a hurry to take those pictures.

Dino7, thanks and may I say that when I bought the hull, I did a search for a twin drive and yours came up, I envied yours for a long time, but my experience level was low and didn't want to butcher up a nice hull. I was quite amazed at how you were able to fit a pair of 3674 motors in there. I went through many plans including 29xx motors, even got some motor mounts. I didn't have the confidence to make my own CF mounts, but in the end I got enough courage and made them for a pair of out runners I had for another project.
Yes, your H&M is my original inspiration!

I painted the windshield. I guess the charm of this hull is its non scale like character. Its molded windshield lines are almost comical, like those characters in the Pixar movie "Cars", lol... I retained that line. Here is how it looks like:DSCN7556.jpg, with primer:DSCN7559.jpg I used Graphite Mica Metallic for the finished windshield DSCN7560.jpg.
This is how it came out, I realized the molded lines are not symmetrical, DSCN7564.jpg but with pin stripe, you can "correct" the lines up to a point:DSCN7571.jpg

                            Hi Tim.
I only just saw this build for the first time and read through it . You've done some great work there. A sweet setup with those motors.
Should be a flyer on the water.

                            Cheers.

The pin stripe definitely clean up the lines and looks good to. For a guy that started out being more than humble about your abilities you sure pulled off one very nice build. I can't wait to see it on the water, it's a very unique hull design and should go like a rocket. Get her in the water!!
