looking good man. i would have drilled some small hole along the flat part of the servo mount (that goes along the tunnel surface) to allow some epoxy to really bight into it. but i think it will hold find. the other option is a through bolted servo mount using 2mm plate, and 4 standoffs.
HPR 135 redemption, HPR C5009, modded zelos 36, 32 boats and counting.
Flier ESC dealer, pm me for details.

      Thanks!
In the final analysis, it is much ado about nothing, the recommended way from those who cared to give me advice are sufficient and good enough, yours of course would be the sensible thing to do since I stubbornly held on to the voice in my head.
I made the flat part because it was in my head and I can't get rid of it...

Thanks! You are too kind, it is what it is, dislike the carbon dust and I try to do it outside with a 3M N95 approved mask.
Had to cut some long narrow straight strips, what a PITA it is to cut it by hand holding a Dremel with a cut off disc.

              Thanks!
Single should be great. Can't wait to see yours!
I have seen this in action with a single, awesome hull. I doubt the twin will be as fast, it is small and now the weight might just be an issue. I just wanted to challenge myself to a twin build but not be intimidated by a large hull.

                Prop rotation and ESC/BEC config.

Need some help, thanks in advance:
What rotation should I start with, outward or inward?
I am using two Seaking 120 Amp V3 ESCs hooked to a Spektrum MR3000. This Rx has two ports for each channel, I think I got that so far.
I want to use the BEC feature, but having both ESC's BEC are not necessary, right? Do I pull one ESC's red pin out?

I hope so to lol, I'm still milling over what motor to use on 4s1p, H+M recommended a 2400ish kv lehner, but im not sure of that much power for oval racing. What single setup did u see it use?

                          Tim,

Instead of pulling a wire, use a short servo extension on one esc and cut the red wire in the extension. Then if you want to do anything with the esc again you don't have to mess with reinserting the wire in the plug.

Totally good call. Saves hassle in the long run.

I got a bit more done. One thing I learned with out runners is that one needs to tuck in all the loose wires and tubes. Don't ask me how I found out.
Here are the side rails to keep everything neat, getting the hang of cutting these CF plates finally, heck, I don't even have a vise, left hand is the vise, right hand is the table saw. DSCN7434.jpg DSCN7436.jpg DSCN7485.jpg I thought I had in my inventory some medium sized water out let, but nooo, had to make my own.DSCN7500.jpgDSCN7495.jpg
