    Ray should work well with the watercooled lipos ....Travis I got too see one of those new motor mounts today, Sean got one. They are definately the way to go. Looking good as always brother... DJ

    Just got through reinforcing the transom. I ended up doing it differently than i usually do. My original cheetah I didn't reinforce at all. I never had a problem. I see why I didnt, it's pretty thick and looks like it had a layer of core mat in it. I put a layer of carbon and flooded it with 18g of epoxy.




    The hardware came in. I tried to find what I needed here but it wasn't what I was looking for plus there was some other things I needed that only kintec had. I try to buy from both. The rudder was part number502b55 5 1/2" rudder and the strut is part number 503B40-A 1/4 Long Strut
    Item# 503B40-A. It's for a .250 shaft but I'll make a bushing to adapt it to a .187 shaft. Or I'll just roller bearing it.

    I don't know how you can balance all that! I guess the next best step would be to eliminate sleep all together. It's obviously what is slowing you down:-D I'm looking forward to seeing that genesis roll out of the garage and onto the water.

    thanks! it looks like it has a snag in the right sponson, but its a step causing that effect. I also am building a daytona and a rivercat at the same time...so yea, i'll be busy..lol. I'm trying to juggle all this work, a 50+ hour a week job, three kids and a wife.....whew.. its pretty stressful!

    Tracked the hardware. Looks like it will be here tomorrow. Good deal as I have Thursday and Friday off as well as the weekend, I should get a good bit done. Did I mention I have three of these back to back total to do? Lol. I guess sometimes when it rains....it pours haha

    Not really. I'm expecting about 60mph out of it. I do have a fiberglass hatch so I will be able to gps it. It may go a little faster, who knows. I'm making an effort to keep it on the water at higher speeds. We will see.
