No problem! Sorry.if I sounded on edge this weekend. ..I was....my kids puppy got ran over the day after Christmas. We only had him for 4 months but we We're very attached to him. The low life who ran him over right in front of my house didn't bother to stop. The kids have been taking it really hard and I just haven't been in a good mood as a result of it.

This one is for a friend, I actually met him from here. The daytona is for me...haven't had time to go run it just yet. It requires a larger body of water to run in which is harder for me to get out to so I can open it up. Thanks for the kind words!

Well I finished it up last night. All that's left if the hatch seal and I'm waiting on velcro straps to come in. Bench tested it, everything works flawless.

so this is what i got going so far and still got a lot to got to finish but i thought i would you a heads up on where i stand i am really happy where this is going every thing is going together smoothly

for my parts list i am useing a kintec 6 and1/4 inch ruder

250 1/4 extended strut with 3/16 shaft bearing mods thats to kfx guy

keep in mind i am a beginner to building boats and thanks to you guys its almost ready to hit the water soon

i will keep adding pictures as i progress with the build

1 is a 6 s setup with a leopard 4082 1600kv 180a seaking and the other is a leopard 4082 with 1480kv on 8s with v3 130a HV esc so if you have any suggestions on props for both setups that would be greatly appreciated

here is the pictures of how far i have got so far. hopefully this thread will answer a lot of questions for beginners working to build their first Catamaran

again more specs to come and any suggestions for improvements are welcome good or bad

i also reinforced the transom and added strips of carbon along the whole seam from front to the back and on the front tunnel and sponsons the hull has no flex and twist and not much weight was added. right now with all the electronics loosely placed COG is about 40% i hope it wont run to wet. i guess i can shift the batteries back a inch or two

Im going to need help with prop choices with the 1600kv and 1480kv bother leopard, I want to tun 2x 6 5000 mah in parallel and the 1480kv 2x 8s 5000mah in parallel.

Not comes prop choice ws going to use a X448 on the 1600 I can also run the 1480kv 0n 6s 5000mah parallel with a bigger prob what do you guys thinks?

I pecked away at it the past couple days when I had some free time. I installed the battery trays, made the esc mount, installed it, put two part foam in the front and started laying out the cooling lines and wires. It's almost done.... Here's some pics.

So you converted a 1/4" strut to 3/16". Where did you get the rudder and strut? That rudder isn't that easy to find.

Ray, see post #13. It has part numbers and everything. I would have just ran a .250 shaft had I bought that size shaft for it. The built was supposed to be a daytona right at first, then changed yo a shocker and then a cheetah. So I originally ordered parts for a daytona. I have to reorder the strut and rudder that I listed instead of the smaller setup used on a daytona. I would have used a .250 shaft from the onset. It's overkill I know but I'd never strip it.

Yes sir, it covers everything. Wires and cooling lines will be routed under the left battery tray.
