I like to reinforce the tips of the sponsons and the front of the tunnel for a couple reasons. One is to add a little weight toward the front to help balance things and the other reason is in case of a collision. My hopes are it will help it survive better. I mix in some carbon fiber that I chopped up onto the mix.
(I apologize in advance but I'll be posting some of the same pics in this thread and the daytona build thread. I'll still keep them separate threads but I'm building them at the same time. )
Here's a cheetah I'm building for a buddy of mine. My knowledge and experience is ever evolving on these builds so of course I'll be applying that here. He wanted something fairly fast and that would turn and handle a little bit of chop.
