Awesome looking Nate... I just bought the same hull and Tiqueman is doing the cf inlay this week. I'm putting TP 3064 1610kv motors with T180 ESCs. How are you fitting 40mm cans in that hull? Going to run it on 4s first and then 6s eventually. Hoping for a 70mph boat also. I will be watching your build as this is my first twin build...... Good luck

Yes but I was told if you go with 40mm cans you would have to mount them well forward(which I don't want to do). Or if you mount them in correct position for COG you end up with a nasty shaft angle! Hope you get them in because I have a pair of Castle 1515 I would love to fit in mine. How long before you start the mounting of motors? Thx Jeff

Nate, Ive been doing same thing. Looking at other builds, less questions in head, seems to be a popular hull we are working with. I got a bit of a shock last night when I did a speed calc on my setup "132 mph" I sure the He$$ hope not !! I am no way ready for that "YET" . We have come really close to 80mph with our other SAW boats I was looking for 90mph or so with mine..You did good on your first CF inlay, my first was actually dangerous to put your hand thru hatch, you would get stabbed by CF strands, that stuff is sharp and dangerous....DJ

Thank you man. I'd be happy seeing mine reach 80mph. Thats moving! Im still trying to find a set of stinger's to go with. Yet to find any in stock.
Heres a few more pics of the inlay completely dry. It was a pain getting the cf to lay down around every curvature, and dry resin time set in 20min, so I had about a 10 minutes to get it situated before it started drying.

Off to a good start. What stingers are you looking for?

This is the only drive that I know of that will work properly, and have the right length.

Last I checked Kintec has them in stock. Where they mount needs a little work to get the stingers to neutral. Or FCR sells a shim for them.
