How is a flooded stuffing tube generally done? I get the basic idea, but is there any info on this?

Ive been wanting to use a strut with a flooded tube. Never did it before, so I think itll be a good experience. If it were mine, id use a strut.

I stuffed a 4082 in a 33" on 6s ran in parallel(its a freaking powerhouse)..Thats not much more of a difference(power to weight ratio speaking)..But the flooded stuffing tube would be pretty cool to try..The only thing I dont like about a flooded tube is something getting knocked loose and causing leaks..Believe me..At the speeds your gonna be at, over strengthening everything is a good idea..Again there are many many different ways to tune one in every aspect..

I've been eyeing these packs............made for heli's, 8c charge rate............65c continuous. Only 80 bucks for 4s, you could maybe go 4s2p with two 4000 packs(they look long and thin)..............i need to find some reviews on these batts.

NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Dana have you considered smaller 4s packs...something like 3000mah? You might be able to run 4s2p that way, and those packs would most likely have a more favorable configuration in your boat that running 5-6000mah 2s packs. As far as sky lipos, I was pretty impressed with them. I've had plenty of high dollar lipos, but the cheap sky lipos I had did everything I asked them to. I'm not saying they're exactly the same but I wouldn't expect a huge difference unless there was something wrong with your skys.

I don't really think the 2200kv 4074 is overkill for this boat. I would go as far as to say it would be (to many of us) the natural choice. I ran one in a SV27 and it was a bit much, but in the DF 26" it should run well. I think you will end up with trim tabs, though as some said you can always test without if you want.

BTW I have Thunder Power and Skylipo and also have no Qaums with getting other sky's.

I like my sky lipos, but I know there are better out there. Keith, I hadn't thought of that but that's a good idea. I want to run 2p

That is how I was able to run 6s2p in my CS..They were 3000mah in parallel for 6000 total..The 6s packs were the same weight as 3s2p 5000mah ran in series..
