Props are spinning in. Left on right and right on left. It seems to handle a lot better than the single drive.

Excilent job Scott, i didnt notice but what controller did you use??? looked like you didnt have any problems with distance, you no what everyone says about range with a CF hull looks like you had no probs..

Actually it did. I had the Futaba 2.4 Fasst antenna in the hull and it had range issues so I had to put a short antenna out the rear deck. After that, it responded flawless.

Humm, i have original 2.4 proboat from my miss geico, i was thinking of putting it in my CF daytona, do you think that would be better then my Tactic, but the PB has two antannas one short and one longer do you have to have both out of the hull or just the longer one???

The Futaba only has one 6" or so Antenna.

the Factory MG one has two,, strange!! ive never used it thow its still in the box i always use my Tactics, they have no external antanna..

Your comparing two different systems. The PB mr2000 has two, futaba Fasst has one and the Aquacraft 2.4 doesnt have any at all.....

This talk about recievers/antannas has got my thinking. In my Daytona (fiberglass, not CF) i was gonna use a 2.4g Tactic that i already have that's in the mono in my avatar pic. I always thought i might have radio issues with that boat, throttle would hang for a couple seconds after letting off the trigger, and also the steering would some times do the same thing, stayed turned and hook after letting go of the wheel. I never could figure out if it was ESC related or radio, but i've always wondered about the lack of any antanna on the Tactic reciever, plus being concealed in the hull and in a reciever box. Do they make some kind of an antanna for the Tactic reciever? Before i put the Tactic in the new hull i want to get an idea weather or not i have an issue with it or the Etti ESC in the other boat.

Checkmateguy i only use Tactics in all my boats and have never had a problem with them and with new batteries in the controller i can run my boats out till i almost cant see them, im having probs with my twin CF hull thats why i was going to give the Antanna deal a try!!! Otherwise i will keep my Tactic in it..

Ahhhh, so is it something with the carbon fiber that cuases radio issues then? Yeah i've heard the tactics are pretty reliable, thats why i bought one. I have vibration issues with the mono so i haven't run it very much, i was also worried about the radio but i still think it may be the ESC causing the probs, at least i hope so, i don't want the Daytona flying into shore!!!
