I got the stingers installed yesterday and began to bend and install the stufing tubes. I dont have the cooling jackets for the motors so Im a little hesistant on what angle I can acheive and still have clearances. After sleeping on it, Ive decided to scratch the motor mounts Ive made and do a new set. Since the mount will be placed right at a step, the motor side of the mount at the sponson floor is lower than the coupler side. So I can probably drop the motor about 1/8 or 3/16" and have just enough room for epoxy at the mounts and plenty of room for jacket clearance to the hull. Ill make the new mounts today and hopefully have the stuffing tubes, supports and motor mounts installed at the days end.

Very nice build process there! Looks like there's a bit more room in the sponses compared to my Daytona hulls. If you don't mind me asking, what is the width of them Scott?

thanks yeah its a little more friendly to work on but not by a lot. They are 11" wide.

For two reasons, one CK doesnt cut well at all. It frays as the fibers dont get fully penetrated. And two, since the battery trays are CF, the esc mounts are CF and the outside finish of the hull is CF, I think its really gunna all tie together nicely. Seeing it against the blue tape and not having a lot in it yet is throwing it off a little. When that tape comes off, its gunna look reeeeal nice.
