Build is looking great, hope you locate that shaft soon. Regardless of weather, I'll be running the boat up here in NY when it arrives... Shouldn't have to worry too much about component temps... Swimming for a dead or flipped boat will definitely be out...

Scott, Looks good. As you can imagine I have been following Bruce's (Imax) build along with Gimp's single build last month. I just hope it all gets done so I can give it to my son for Christmas!!

Little updating as lifes been in the way a bit lately and w/ the holidays, things got a little behind. As a lot of you probably know OSE has been out of right hand .187 flex's for quite some time, so Imaxs build has been on hold. I did locate some elsewhere so they will probably be ordered today.

On the sub-subject, I did get Vinlsols done and maidened it this morning. Its got 2200kv FC outunners in it and his plan is to start it on 3S, so I maidened it using 3S. I was quite suprised how well it went. No vids but I did take some action pics, myself, so they arent in the best of frame. I bench tested the range w/ the Futaba 2.4 inside the hull and walked about 75 yards away from it and it communicated perfectly. Once in the water, a couple times it would act like range was an issue. So Im going to drill a hole and install a short antenna thru the rear deck. Hopefully Ill get some vid tomorrow.

Looks good Tique. Those little outrunners are good performers...glad to see someone else utilizing that setup. What are you running on it for props? It should be a great runner when he steps up to 4s!

Does the rear esc get hotter since the front is cooled then the rear esc second??? I thought about doing this with my twin but was worried about the heAt.

Actually the front esc gets cooled last. No heat difference that I've noticed. I haven't put a temp gun on them but I will later today. Feeling by finger they were both cold after its maiden. Setting the cooling up as I did in this one is not the standard way, but it kept it all clean inside and the flow smooth. The first time I set one up like this I got to thinking, if you were just running one esc, water flows one side, turns180 and flows the other. Now the left split cools one side of both escs and the right split cools the right side... so, theoretically its kinda cooling the same way... kinda you shouldn't see any problems at all. Even with one pick up, I was very suprised how much water flow there is.
