I'm attempting a similar project as my first build. I only have to find the struts/stingers and I'll have everything I need. Where did you get the surface drives in the first picture?

Absolutely why I thanked you. Ive been slammed lately, as you know.

Got a few things done yesterday. water pickups installed, servo mount and battery trays. I also got the rudder mount installed but didnt get a pic before my camera died. I filled the transom rudder extension solid w/ thickened epoxy to be sure there will never be transom issues.

Also on a side note, Im building a Shocker for Vinlsol as well. I got his carboned yesterday, motor mounts cut and transom doublers cut. I hope to have both boats ready for water by the end of next week.

And thats only 2 boats of the 7 in progress. "If" I can locate a RH shaft, I hope to test Bruces by the end of the week and Joels shortly there after.

I am soooo jealous!The way its going around here it'll be March when I get to run ,umm,should be three or four new boats by then.

Id go nuts if I had to wait for season. Heck, Im going wakeboarding wednesday, and should be able to leave my spring suit at home.

I have skiing,snowboarding and massive tubing 1/2 an hour away already.

My buddy sent me a pic of him Snowboarding yesterday. JEAAALOUSSSSS! I havent been n a couple years now. I was going out west every year for several years in a row. Became a seasonal local in Park City Im one of those born and raised in FL boys who has his own Snowboard and Snow ski set ups, yet never lived where it snows....

I'm gonna try and get up there soon,I haven't skied in a couple of years.I'll have to make sure I have the next day off(ouch).The house I was workin on Tuesday had a great view of the white mountains over the city.Twas a beautiful clear day.I guess I should get a pic for you flatlanders eh!

Thanks, I looked at the site numerous times and thought is was only a forum until I registered. I'm not too sure why I decided to build a boat as a first run into the hobby. It's proving to be an interesting challenge though.
