Just ordered some left & right cable pairs. Hughey .187 Assembled Cable for 3/16" Propellers. Had to buy the long ones but I'll just cut them down.

I laid some extra fiberglass and resin on sponson transoms when I reinforced the floor areas. After drilling holes to mount stingers and rudder I wanted a better way to get the nuts and washers off easier if I need to take the rudder and stingers off. I installed them with a little grease on the threads and bolts and encased them I'm fiberglass resin. This way it strengthens the area and will hold the hardware in place when doing any work. The grease helps when taking the bolts out if any resin gets in the threads.

            Nicely done!

Smart Idea, no more cramming your fingers into tight places to get hardware in!

Been sitting and waiting for more orders to come in before I can make any more headway.

Think I got the boats paint & decal scheme figured out. It will be a corvette boat with emblems and decals from the 6th gen corvette race cars. also some fightercat decals of course. The colors will be yellow, black and maybe white. Im going to try and make some similar paint job as on these cars but not exact and a little more simple. Maybe even some CF wrap in places.

I had this idea to give me more room to manipulate motor placement angles and give me an little edge on getting a better straight shot in lining up my motor, stuffing tubes & struts.
I'm wanting the cables & tubes to be in a straight line with as little bend as possible from end of stingers to motor shafts. After I get the motors mounts and tubes in I will reinforce the upper deck where I had trimmed away part of the canopy seat. I may even fill in the open air space that isn't being used for motor placement.

So after lining it up and tacking it in place it's pretty apparent I need a wedge under the motor mounts.

So I take fiberglass mat and trim hairs off of it to mix into a cup of fiberglass resin then apply my mix of what looks like something the cat hacked up under my motor mount to make a wedge.

JP looks good but why didnt you just use a peice of aluminum for the bottum motor mount peice so you could have just bent it and could have had it flat on the hull floor,, then you would have had to use less epoxy!!! well maybe next time looks good anyway..

Turns out the stuffing tube size I got was wrong size for going with no liner. I got what was suggested on ose's website under k&s tubing. Must of been a typo. So I had to get the tubes out I epoxied in around transom.
I'm a little sick of messing with it so it's gonna sit till I feel ambitious again.

I bought hughey .187 flexes and 7/32 tubes because that's what I read to use on ose tubes section.

Now I will use my 6mm tubes no liners.

Just tried that heat trick. Worked well

Weird. I've been told by two different folks it needs to be 1/4" if no liner.

I can say that the .187 and 7/32 was a tight fit with no slop. And after a slight bend it seems to have a noticeable increase in drag.
