I started working on my genesis and was thinking about a motor change that would push this 100+. 1 motor will do it. The hull is setup i just need more power.
I'm still working out the bugs but i did get into the 90s. It will go faster but I need more time. I am thinking about 95mph is a good number to stop at. Now im looking for a prop that is 1.9" and greater then 3.0
I run it so the bottom of my strut is at the bottom of the sponson. Less resistance, more speed. You just need to run a little bigger prop then normal.
That sounds like a typical starting point for a cat to me? Any cat I've seen is in that ballpark.
Im working on the setup. Im not going for any top speed runs until im happy with it. When i find what really works ill put it in this thread. Dont use any setting that i have talked about.
I've not been on much for a while and just read through your thread.
Your 32 runs flat and fast, I did get some crazy speed out of mine but the very next run it went up in flames! You have done a great job so keep going brother...
When the bank of WIFE lets me draw out the cash, I'm gonna build my next FE, Maybe a twin but I'm never going out to smash speed records, just be quick and have fun doing it.
I also have my Aqua-Mania HOTR to finnish so I 'm happy for now!
