Good news! I finally got a hold of Kris Flynn and he is making up about 1/2 dozen reverse rotation cables for me. I got a few extras to spread around if anyone else is in need.

Wow that's good to hear! How much is he charging you? I was just about to tell you I had no luck at the local speedo shops.

is that including shipping? did you place the order yet? I might want to pick up some for myself too.

What props will you be using? Are there a lot of counter rotating props out there?

Not a huge selection of counter rotating props. I have a nice set of de-toungued x442's that will work just fine.

                Hey Guys,

Got Scott hooked up with the last of my l/h cable in stock(should be able to do 7 of them for the $60)...but I can order in a bundle if there is some more interest.

L/H Cables will be 4 for $35USD shipped (Normal wind will be 4 for $30) + paypal included

Don't mean to advertise, just letting everyone know.

                Cheers
                Kris

Kris, You should talk to Steve. I bet he would be willing to stock these or let you start a thread in the "Unique Products and Services" Forum .

That new ProBoat outboard is going to make this kind of build very common.

Nice build. I did a build with twin nitro outboards which worked out well. Both had the same rotation & it drove nicely. What i did was made a link between both engines & used a single servo for the steering.

Got all the outboard mods done! Mocked up the motors, and snapped a few pics to see how its gonna look. Waiting on my turngy 120's and some hardware. I think I'm gonna try to incorporate the color scheme of the stilleto tunnel into the thundercat. Also I'm gonna try to use the original sealed tub that held all the nitro thundercats electronics. The tricky part is gonna be figuring out the steering linkage. Probably gonna use a quarter scale servo to turn these bad boys!

That looks really cool Scott! Those outdrives look killer on that hull!

Can't wait to see this thing running.
