We're waiting on the county to get us the contract and as soon as that's all done we can start running there. We gotta pull all the pins and the steps from Ackerman, then set up the course at Bennett and clear the launch area

Thanks Chris. What he said. County could take a week or 2 months. We have no idea nor do they but we do have someone on our side and she is trying to expedite things as much as possible. Hopefully by the end of May.

We had some mentioning of it back in January but haven't discussed it since.Originally posted by GregM View PostScott,
I may be mistaken but at the pond yesterday I thought I overheard you say something about going over to IMPBA next year. Not looking to start any rumors but is this under discussion?

Had it at the pond Sunday. Pulled off all of the hardware and started sealing the inside Sunday afternoon. Mixed up too large a batch of epoxy and it lit off before I could get it all applied. Had to throw the cup in the sink and throw water on it. Smoking and melted the mixing cup. Here's where I am now:Originally posted by ron1950 View Postgreg hows your bardoll comeing? any pics?

Not sure how much reinforcing it needs as it has much less area than a standard turn fin but in order to mount it I added another 1/8 ply doubler on the 1/8 keel. I've drilled it to accept 2 8-32 blind nuts for attaching the fin.Originally posted by ron1950 View PostDoes the turn fin on a vintage need to be reinforced?
