It's Official!!

We have Officially vacated Ackerman park!! Bill, Ray and Myself, pulled up all the course pins and dug up the steps leading down to the lake. We actually made pretty quick work of it for two old guys and a fat boy!! Stay tuned for the set up day and first run @ Bennett Park, not sure of the exact dates but it's lookin like it might be in June unless Scott wants to organize some dates in May. We'll let you guys know as soon as we can.

Bill (Capt Danno) if you get a moment to stop snugglin with and admiring that turbine plane, please update the website with info regarding location change and dismantle/ set up plans. if youd like, wait a day to see what kinda feedback that we may get.

Yeah Bill, I loaded it this morning and the main home page where it has the two buttons to the right for contact us and browse site still mentions Ackerman and Sarasota...

The West Florida Model Boat Club in Sarasota Florida is a NAMBA (North American Model Boat Association) chartered radio control boat club that meets at Ackerman Park in Sarasota, FL on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month when the weather permits. (Map and directions on our contact page.)

We are a NAMBA chartered club with our home lake being at Ackerman Park in Sarasota FL. If you check our contact page you will find a map and directions for getting there. As a NAMBA club we do require a NAMBA membership to be a part of our club

Life is rough when you are inflicted with CRAFT syndrome. Think I got them all fixed now although it may be tomorrow before they update properly. Sometimes the updates show up right away, sometimes it takes overnight.

Replied w what I do. I don't get as technical as your looking for as to whats exactly right or wrong, angles etc. I just clean up the pads and make them tru. Ive not done a MM. Hugh had a great running hull. Not sure if he ever blue printed. You may ask him.

That's GREAT Rich, did they do full Bypass split Sternum and all or did they go under? I heard they have a new way of doing it.. Either way I'm glad everything went well!!! See Ya Soon!
