OK guys Who alls in for Sunday? Gimme a head count, suppose to be the hottest day so far. I had 97 @ my shop today. Just looked and the wind shouldn't be too bad 3-5 mph out of the west.

That it is Ray. I saw 97 on my van's readout on t way home from work today. Almost tempted to skip the fly in but only to stay inside where it's cooler.

I'll wait till tomorrow and see if we got any takers. I still haven't met up with Scott to get everything so we can get the launch area straightened out. I did get the rest of the stuff to finish the markers though.

Sunday Too Hot..

Well that pretty much settles it, when it's that hot it takes the fun right out of it. Does everybody agree we'll shoot for the 26th? Hopefully I'll have gotten with Scott by then and we'll get the launch area finished.

Sounds good to me and 2nd the HOT. I can only take about ½ the depth of cuts I normally do with aluminum. Gets to hot and gummies up the cutter. Taking 2X as long. Stay cool guys.

Whats a good populated city in FL with lake(s)? :)

I'm thinking to make a move there within the year or so. Originally it was something like Sunny Isles, Miami area, or even Tampa.

Well, you couldn't pay me to live in the Miami area, I'm not familiuar with Sunny Isles, Tampa is just north of us and it's a nice area. IMO unless you like wall to wall people and crowded everything then stay away from the East Coast. The West Coast is much more laid back and less crowded, we're in Bradenton it's about 45mi. south of Tampa and a very nice area. Although I'd say that Northwest Fl. "North side of Tampa is one of the nicest areas in Fl. South of us is pretty nice too.

It's definitely toasty. I went to the fly in this morning but have no intentions of going back tomorrow. I left there just a bit before noon came home and crashed on the couch until after 2:00 trying to recuperate from it..
