I think maybe what may have happened to the 1/8 scale on Sunday was that the water jacket intake fitting was leaking badly and it flooded the hull, taking out the ESC. I'm gonna have to test the motor to be sure it wasn't a thrown magnet though.

Yep, it's the same Best Western we stayed at before, only about 5 - 10 minutes from race site.

I spoke with Ken Haines today. He told me the next TNT day will be Saturday May 14 starting around 10 am. I am planning to go. I would say that anyone who is planning to run at the nats should get some practice time on the course if you can.

Saturday is looking rough for sure with 16 out of the east at mid day. The av site only makes it as far as 2 am fron Sunday right now and it's showing 10 from the east then.
