You put clearcoat over the paintjob at the end so it doesn't matter if it dulls with sanding here or there.

Alright. Ill blueprint this weekend hopefully and paint before I leave.

What u think about the taping. I'm thinking flat like up front and then paint and from blue to green, have a rip in it. Or what should I do

It's up to you.This is the point when I leave it and wait for it to come to me(or at least that is what I do).It may take a day or a week but something always strikes me.I really don't know how these guys can go to work and continually come up with these awesome paint designs.

How can I make tears and rips.

The mg paint is suppose to.be the same or near the same as the jet boat I.posted. The only.change os.there will.be no.rips in the front checkered flag nor the rear. But tears in blue.and green.

Another question. Would I loose top speed if I put my 2700 turnigy motor in and run on 3s. It is faster rpm on 3s than.the ul1 on 4s. Whatbwould happen?

Not sure,the can may be too small and not have enough torque.But maybe it will.Only one way to find out.I have a few motors here of varying kv that one day I'll play with in this way.Probably in the Miss Bud hydro that should be showing up this week.Hehe

Ill put it in for the first run new and see how jt does. Try it and check.temps. Then if its slower ill switch back. I'm also getting my prop detongued sharpened and.balanced. I found someone to do.it. I'm sending it in this week.

Now do you.blueprint the side lips next to the ride pad also? its the ride pad then a lip then the rounded sides.

My grandpa said that filler would take too long to sand and it would be easier to use spot filler by bondo. Its red and we put some on and letting it dry. I can already tell a difference. Sanding the top first and then we will sharpen the edges

Well its working. The first time we found some big low spots. Second time should fill them up. Letting it.drybover night. Ill sand it down tomorrow. Tips on sharp edges?

My neighbor is a painter and told me that oil based paints can be used as primer. I had some left over blue so I sprayed the hatch Letting it dry now. Going to sand and that should.be good. I sprayed the inside and outside and I gotta say it looks good. I think.I'm.going to use the same blue on the.boat. The green I.have is too dark. I'm going ti find a lighter green.

Got the esc in the mail. This thing looks rough. Hah
My.thoughts. Looks like on the esc he has the red wire not.going into the receiver anymore... Don't know why.
power wires are bad. Need them fixed.
wires from power wires with a plug to go.onto the.bec. Ill just attach the bec to the wires themself nextbtime
Bec looks good.
Extra caps look good too.
Just need to get them all soldered up.

Soldered 5.5 bullets on motor. Now only the rest of the.motor needs fixed
