Your MG that started off as a hull

Damn this thread moves fast!!!! i just spent like 15min ready to catch up,,,,,, Skyman just use the Mystic 29 rudder gear, i think sense its on the same hull as the MG it should bolt right on,, and i like them Slash parts sweet,, i just got some 17mm hex's to put on my new 1/8 scale truggy wheels i can post pics tonight if you wanna see.Also i use 5.5mm bullet connectors on all my stuff and so far ive never had a problem..

Is there a difference between all these strudders, quality wise, or are they all pretty much the same?

Why wouldn't you use at least 6mm? Isn't it safer? Is 5.5mm easier to work with?

Definitely post pics of your 1/8th scale. I'd love to see it

i realy dont think theres a diffence between quality on all these struts,,, aluminum is aluminum,, ive had the ose rudder system, the TFL system, the HK system and they are all practicauly identical!!!! id go with the factory M29 gear cuz it comes as a upgraded version of the MG so why wouldnt it fit and it already has the bracket putting the rudder off to one side,,, i had deans connectors then was told to use ec3 then ec5 and got tierd of changing evertime some one said this is better so i went with 5.5's and have never looked back.. the wheels i got are 1/8 scale but going on my 1/10 scale slash4x4 like yours and ill post pics tonight!!!Looks ok but im not crazzy about them yet..

Do u think the holes on the mystic mounting bracket would line up with the mg transom holes?

Go back several pages, I posted a pic of a TON of hopups that I have lying around for my slash 4x4 and losi mini 8ight. Haven't had the time to install them.

I actually just offer the canopy for $30, but it is so light that the only option for us to send is via EMS (Express Mail) of the post office for $25. The only good thing is EMS is fast - 1 week and its there.

I dont have the M29 i have a MG but seeing Proboat's past boats and having afew they like to run the same exact stuff in all there boats all the way down to they're gear so i would think it would be the same bolt patern as the MG, plus theres only so much room on the transum extension to change things around but id put my money on there the same...Yeah i remember your post on all those parts sounds like you need to get to work, hahaha but dont feel bad i always have like 15 projects going at one time, i just repainted my MG and plan on doing more to it, getting my 32'' Deep-v running again, repainting my Genesis and getting the hooking thing fixed AND rebuilding a 88 350 Yamaha Warrior 4wheeler not to forget flying my new Champ airplane and doing the stuff to my Slash and constantly playing with my guns, just mention afew things im doing wright now, hahaha

Ok Mac, im going to try to work out some things and see if i can come up with some extra to get one from ya,, have you been able to match the factory paint yet, im scared i wont be able to match my boat, that will suck i like the factory Geico color..

Skyman i was thinking if the stock M29 gear bolt holes dont line up just wright you could always reamout the bolt holes alittle on the rudder bracket (not the hull) and get it to fit!!!

i started on some of the parts for the slash, installed the King Headz motor mount (very nice w/ bigger bearing), strc motor plate and strc center driveshaft... only problem is i haven't been able to use it since i had to send in my esc to traxxas because of a low voltage cutoff issue i was experiencing. should be getting it back on monday.

you had a pic of all 3 of your boats stacked on top of each other right? i think it's only been a couple days but it's probably several pages back

Thanks bro, you should have seen the Black CF Geico just before i sold it, i had just put the turbine hatch outlines and some other decals,, yes i sold it and sold the one in the middle it was a Miss Vegas hydro i sanded down and repainted and changed over to electrics,, ive had many and built many and sold most but its all in fun...ill see if i can find a closeup of the Twin CF Geico for ya..
