interesting! ace & true value are pretty much non-existant here. Home Depot & Lowes have taken over.Originally posted by tagasagwan View PostWe have at least 3 Ace hardware in every city! we also have true value etc.Axial Yeti XL - Traxxas Slash 4x4 (x2) - Losi Mini 8ight - Tacon Soar Buggy - Blade 120SR - Miss Geico 29 (hull + parts)

Thats it! 20 pairs for less than $9.Originally posted by skyman View Postmacdon, are these the connectors you're getting? http://www.leaderhobby.com/product.asp?ID=com99315
We also get our batteries from Leader so while you're there do sign up as they offer "one day promotions" which they send thru email. We get Winmax batteries from Leader and there is a topic here in OSE about Winmax. So far, they're doing well!
We used to get our batteries from Hobby King - Turnigy Nanotechs, but we found the Nanotechs of Winmax sold by Leader Hobby to be slight stronger and a bit cheaper than the turnigys we get from HK.
Leader Hobby is in Hong Kong just so you know.

I think batteries maybe a personal thing - there are many factors for a hobbyist to choose a specific brand over another.Originally posted by skyman View PostI wonder how these compare to Gens Ace, which are pretty damn good batteries

For us in this side of the world (Asia), ordering from china or hongkong is a lot cheaper in both items and shipping costs, so we find what works and get it!
You can always get info here in OSE - there are many good threads about batteries!

how are these holding up for you? my only concern would be the amp rating on these 6mm connectors is 160A whereas the 6.5mm is rated at 200A, which is safe for a 180A esc. maybe that's why they put 6.5mm bullets on the 1515 motor.Originally posted by tagasagwan View PostAxial Yeti XL - Traxxas Slash 4x4 (x2) - Losi Mini 8ight - Tacon Soar Buggy - Blade 120SR - Miss Geico 29 (hull + parts)

Damn this thread moves fast!!!! i just spent like 15min reading to catch up,,,,,, Skyman just use the Mystic 29 rudder gear, i think sense its on the same hull as the MG it should bolt right on,, and i like them Slash parts sweet,, i just got some 17mm hex's to put on my new 1/8 scale truggy wheels for my slash4x4 i can post pics tonight if you wanna see. Also i use 5.5mm bullet connectors on all my stuff and so far ive never had a problem..PS i use a Weller soldering gun for all my stuff, its works well..
Seeing all these new Mg paint jobs with these new turbine hatches,,, Mac how much did you say these cost?????Last edited by HYDROJERRY; 06-08-2012, 11:27 AM.
