would like clarification

Ul-1 power in a SV, yea click the SV link in my signature and you will see a video of it. I run mid to high 40s with mine with ul-1 power. Good choice of batts, set up properly it should be a nice running SV. For props, 42x55, x642, 40x52/3 or x440/3. My boat doesn't have the teflon tubing either. It's better if it's their, but not major just make sure the flex shaft isn't touching or can rub the stuffing tube at the end before it hits the collet

When you say "x642"...you're referring to the Octura x642 2 blade prop right?
...is this prop fairly similar to the Grim 42 x 55 ?

Yes the 642 is the Octura x642, yes the x440/3 is the 3 bladed version of the x440 and no the x642 has more pitch then the grim 42x55.

*To add I feel the Grim 42x55 is the best choice for the boat and motor!
