i completely disagree, and cant figure out how you've tried the same product i use, with completely different resultsOriginally posted by hyrulejedi86 View PostTried it, left all kinds of gunk where the tape was and came unstuck as soon as it got wet.
Hockey tape works the best, it stays sticky even when its wet and can be resealed onto the hull several times if taking the hatch on and off. Which I did one day when changing things in the UL-1 and checking speeds between runs.
in any case i give all my boats a quick wipe with some nail polish remover once a week just to get anything off there.

i suppose in race conditions yeah maybe its a good idea to take extra precautions, but for me i dont race. sure me and a couple other guys on here have all run together during the summer... but never with bouy's. although we have talked about it. maybe we will this yearOriginally posted by Jeepers View Postyou think??..........
I 've repaired a couple of UL-1s with race damage/bouy impact damage it don't take much for them to take on water.
