I am leaving the motor to ESC connectors alone. I will put a balloon over the rx. Possibly swap the servo out for a water proof one.

I got one of those traxxas waterproof receiver boxes for mine and sealed it with the grease that it comes with for the joints and works great! Water can still seep into a balloon but the traxxas box has never leaked.

Maybe I will spray with Corrosion-X. I figure the hatch will be taped up, all 4 sides. If she flips not sure how much water will get in there, I am thinking not much?
This Corrosion-X, do I spray the rx once and for get about it? Or use it every time I run? If the rx gets wet, just sprat it again?

some times water can and will come up the stuffing tube.
one thing with these hulls they are built light and don't take much of a beating so if you hit anything in the water or blow it over it could possibly take on water I would protect the rx and other electronics with Corrosion X or this
http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-dp270 it works great also. the hulls are the cheap part, electronics not so cheap. also try an m442 on that boat you might like it.

Tried it, left all kinds of gunk where the tape was and came unstuck as soon as it got wet.Originally posted by dana View Posti use .59 cent rolls of electrical tape from home depot. i just laugh at everyone buying expensive stuff. keep wasting your money
Hockey tape works the best, it stays sticky even when its wet and can be resealed onto the hull several times if taking the hatch on and off. Which I did one day when changing things in the UL-1 and checking speeds between runs.
