Yea and the cruddy part is the fact that I had the urge to get the raft out but the honda was in front of the truck, So I thought to my self, if I am carefull and do not flip it everything should be ok. SO IN PARTING ALWAYS TAKE EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED WHILE BOATING EVEN IF IT ISN'T CONVIENENT TO GET IT OUT JUST DO IT!!!! AND TAKE THE LITTLE EXTRA TIME IT MAY BE WORTH IT IN THE END.

I have to admit I thought the hatch details was butt-ugly until I saw it painted! Hey man, it's downright cool as beans! Good job!

Yea looking at the white foam on wood is a bit drastic and I have to admit paint makes even Butt ugly look good, Hey Thanks wait till you see ti with stripes and clear coat.

                  Cat with Stripes

                  Hi all,
Today I spent some time laying out stripes and painting them, and after I painted them I broke the @#$@%^& Hatch as if it wasn't enough of a challenge now I get to fix it and try and make it look right, Well here is what I did src="http://i943.photobucket.com/albums/ad280/peells/stripes1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And just think I was but a Clear Coat Away, and I break it, Rats!! Well I guess the first crash Curse has been lifted. But I have a repair to do (I hate Repairs) By the way that is what being in a rush causes, I was trying to hurry.

                        Details

Well today I filed and sanded the prop shaft holders the blue anodizing was not quite cutting it with me so I filed and sanded it all off and polished them to a nice luster, I was so pleased how they turned out so I started de-burring the props and I am going to polish them as well. I fixed the broken hatch by glueing it back together and then putting some glass cloth in some epoxy and brushing it until it was all nice and flat. I got the esc's in the mail last week and installed them and got the motors spinning the right directions (toward the inside) that worked well on my son's twin and I could even drive it really good, so I am now just kicking it writhing to you all on my progress, I will take some pictures later and post them for all to see.
Everyone have a great Thanks Giving.

                          Details

Hi all I thought I would post some more progress since I had promised to do.
so every thing is sitting loose except for the motors and esc's I will be placing them in more permanently soon but this is just where I am at for now.

                              More Details

Well today I decided to work on the hatch a bit and uglyfye it (gotta get ugly before awesome) so I sanded out around the crack (break) and it is actually really smooth, then I set that aside and went to filing and balancing and then Polishing to a real nice luster, the camera is real critical and actually makes the props and hardware look not as good as they really do trust me they shine like nobody's business and they are balanced too!!! Well now to finish repainting the hatch and a nice clear job and we will be ready for a video real soon real, real soon. So you guys can see how well it runs I should even be able to drive this one about five laps and not have any problems, and yes I will be taking my raft no more rocks through the transom.

Looks good. Hopefully you will be able to tell when you test out the motors with the props hooked up that there is less vibration. Looks good. Hows the other one turning out? I don't care if the bottom is a different color then the top or what ever lol.
