As I see it, the bottom is extremely similar to the Sprintcat's, only the top changes.

Motor just ordered, Neu 1527, 1.5Y, 850 KV, After some more though and looking at the size of this hull, I didn't think the 580L would be big enough.

Its probably a bit of an overkill but ,,oh well. Besides, I already have the waterjacket for it! It will be set up for 10S vs my original 8S plans.

Well here are the first set of pics.

Some "cosmetic" work has begun as I am waiting for my motor to arrive.

Also mounted the hardware. Its really nicely made. Each of the two rudders has 2 water pickups feeding one supply line. A nice idea that should provide lots of flow.

Had them laying around, some guys swear by them on big cats,,,,,we'll see. They can always be removed.

That is interesting, as I would presume in a turn they would be counter productive. Keep us informed as that is what the hobby is all about..EXPERIMENT.

Doby, remove the fins and that left rudder There is quite a few of these boats setup over here as gassers, and one being setup as FE. They handle really well and are very fast hulls. Sprintcat bottom is correct i believe.

The build is progressing. I am getting a motor mount made that should be ready this week. Once thats done, everything else should go quickly.
