That is the dangest servo and linkage I have seen...looks pretty good.

I wasn' t sure about HOTR strut and Graupner drive dog assembly but that' s OK. I need to install a tube of brass on the shaft for a perfect assembly. [ right side of the picture ]. Propeller shaft will be very well guided without axial amount of play.Originally posted by Alfa Spirit View PostI' ve got an other idea using a Graupner 3/16" drive dog, have a look and let me know what you think

Here is the Graupner drive dog, with this one I can put all 3/16" sized propellers on 4mm shaft and propellers with M4 threaded

Installing a brass tube 4mm inside and 5mm outside, approx. 15mm long. Like this the shaft won' t move, only a small amount of play

You will see my site changing more soon. I have some goodies coming but am also losing a few...motors will probably not be there anymore and a few other items.
These come in several lengths...I use the longest I can put on for XL and that is 60mm for .
Yes they are $10.50. (sorry had to edit that)
I just had to move my site to another prider...yahoo so it will be undergoing some surgery over the next week or so.
These will be up by this evening.

This was the first time I have run it, I didn't time it I think about 8 min's??? Maybe???
I don't know the temp either, I have no way of measuring them??
One of the guys at the lake flies E-Heli's, He thinks the batteries are fine, Not too hot????
What motor would you have put into it?HPR C-5009, Riptide48, PaynPak 1/12, Miss Budweiser 1/8 Hydro, Miss Freya (own design 1/8 Hydro), HOR 32, Twin 380 HOR 32, Magin one

I myself would have went with an 8XL or 9XL on 4S or a 11XL or 12XL on 6S.Originally posted by KillerDave View PostThis was the first time I have run it, I didn't time it I think about 8 min's??? Maybe???

But I'm a bit more cautious. But if you are doing this reliably with good temps on all your components (motor, ESC, Batteries) have fun with it. It's just not what I would run.Government Moto:

It seems to run fine, I was just having a little fun this week, next week I'll go down to the lake and try to get one long run, I'' time it, get a GPS speed and see if I can get temps too...Originally posted by domwilson View PostI myself would have went with an 8XL or 9XL on 4S or a 11XL or 12XL on 6S.
