Hey guys so i was wondering whats the best way to deal with my problem at hand. I have used two different colors of jb weld on my motor and servo mount and i would like to make them both the same color. Would i sand it down alittle then pit another layer of jb over it or should i just deal woth it because i could just make it worse?

Sharply might work but a paint pen will work better!
Paint pens are great for things like this.
Sharps tends to want to erase itself on some things with multiple coats.
See if you can find a black paint pen at michaels or walmart in the craft section.
Make sure it's the wide tip.OSE GIFTING ELF

A sharpie will leave a bunch of strokes and will smear on itself as you apply it. So will a pen. It's not a bad solution when you have a small chip to cover. Besides, it'll wipe clean off the second you need to clean your boat with some alcohol when it gets greasy. Just get black dye on ebay and mix that into your epoxy (a drop or two) and create new fillets and try to remove as much of the old ones as you can. Just a suggestion, this is what I would do.

Mix up a bunch of graphite powder in jb weld. Tape it off again of course and scuff it up. Make sure you warm the jb weld up so it'll flow. Heat gun works well.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was

I like to see the wires, i know the rage is to hide everything, just like a modern car, you open the hood, you see NOTHING!Originally posted by dude123 View Post heres a pic of the inside, still trying to finesse it
I am old school, I like to see the spark plug wires and the belts , so I think if you smooth out the JB, it will look really cool, not that it doesn't already look pretty cool!
Too many boats, not enough time...
