It would actually spin around so I'm thinking about putting a longer one on.

Yes. That was the second prop I tried. I tried an m645 first then a X648 which was noticeably faster with less temps than the m645 (the m645 was one of the first props I did...it's way too thick) and then I put the x646/3 on and it seemed to accelerate faster but no higher top but with added heat. With the x648, the esc and motor were running less than 100 degrees. I think my Mess up is strut angle. I'm going to fix that of course before next outing. Here's a couple vids...you can see its running really wet

I think in the second vid the prop is popping out of the water some. Hence the sound.

The more I watch them the more I realize how wrong I had it set. Looks like all three ride pads and some of the nose was in the water. Explains the temps on the esc and motor. I get it lined out, 8s and the right prop...it's gonna go pretty good.

My other matching battery finally came. i still have to solder the connector on and still have yet to s/b my x450 prop. Been busy and went on vacation. i really wish i had brought one of my boats. dont care what one....just one of them. we went out on the pontoon on the bay and I had a couple secluded spots that were nice and calm that i could have run it...about 3-4 feet deep so if something happened, i wouldnt lose it. I really would have enjoyed that. I'll know better for next time. i'm going get a mini belt sander tomorrow to help get my props done quicker. Right now they are taking forever and wearing my hands out. i have some things to do this weekend but if i can break free for a bit, it'll see a few passes on 8s. Stay tuned!

Can't wait Travis. I really want to see a good single go in one of these hulls.

Man I can't wait either. The more I think about it, the more I realize this thing is gonna fly. I should be able to test it this weekend.

Went shot some vid's today. Made some test runs with a castle hydra ice 240 (that I got wet and stopped working..called a hydra too..go figure lol). Overall it ran well. Amp draw was Suprisingly low. 116 amps is what I logged for max draw. 117f degrees. Nice. Here's some vid's (I posted them in another thread too)

6s run (don't fall asleep. ..it's slow lol)

8s (all vid's are with the same x648 prop, not the one I'm gonna end up with)

                      another 8s

Ummm I may go up to 10s. Looks like everything I have can handle it. I'm going to get the prop situation lined out first. It ought to haul with the prop I'm working on for it.....

Thanks. Yes, I hate taping. I haven't had a chance to install the hatch bolts on it, but yea, it's a pita

Yes, and so is waiting half an hour to charge packs, but it is one of the prices we pay for not having to burn stinky hydrocarbons in our boats. Decades of use has proven that proper taping is the best way to insure a dry boat, period. I wish you luck.
