Travis, M&L GP400 Hydro Neu 1527 1250kv Castle 240A x455 on 6S average lap speeds 65mph. Thats a 39.5" wood boat, its heavier and rides a bit wetter than your cat. I dont think your going to have any probs with reaching 70 plus on 8S.....

Wow. I'd have to agree with you. I was secretly gunning for 80+ but didn't wanna say anything just yet. Lol

Well I'm getting excited again. I got some goodies in today. Almost everything I ordered came in all at one time lol. I'm waiting on battery straps, a 4s battery pack (haven't ordered because out of stock) and I haven't decided on esc yet. I may just end up using one of the fightercat esc's.

Looking good Travis, and I'm extremely happy you sold me the cheetah.
Still waiting to race the neighbor. I think the cheetah will finally, smoke the spartan in the turns and the straights. Previously I only had him in straight line, but he'd pull ahead in the turns. We have a real narrow race course and there's a ton of chop. I hope you get the Daytona hull tomorrow.

I'm pecking away at this one right now. I had to fix a linkage boot leak on my mini last night so I didn't get anything done on it. I had to machine a through transom nipple to clamp the boot to. Nothing they sold was long enough as the transom is about a 1/4 thick from me reinforcing it.

Yea tracking says daytona get here today. I'm in no hurry but I did buy a 1717 for it and I have another esc like in the cheetah. ...it's gonna be pretty quick.

Decided it was time to get back to it. I had to make a couple changes to my rivercat and rivercat mini. Got that stuff out the way, time to get busy, this thing has to be in the water and completely lined out by next weekend. I have been pecking away at it but not posting.

Time to start epoxy on the motor mount.

Mount is in.. that was quick! Lol

Oops! Mbp Collet wouldn't fit. Had to mill the mount out.
