Got a question for someone. I sat my Daytona in my pool to check for leaks and it started dripping water out of each stuffing tube up by where the flex shaft comes out of stuffing tubes by collets. What did I do wrong? Thx Jeff

There maybe nothing wrong. If the shaft and stinger are below the waterline it's not unusual for water to come up the shaft. Try greasing the shaft and do it again if you haven't already. Some people put a piece of water tubing around the end of the stuffing tube and over that shaft where it exits the tube to keep water from pumping up. I haven't tried this, but a lot of people do it with success, the shaft will spin inside the water tubing. I suspect eventually it will wear out and need to be replaced, but not at much cost.
I would feel comfortable taking it out and running at the way it is and see what happens, when it's moving it won't be sitting down below the waterline like it is in the pool.
Looking forward to some video! This is NOT a toy?!?

Yes the transom sits very low in the water on these Daytona twins. I'm assuming it's the added weight of twins. I've noticed this on all the Daytona twin videos I've watched. Yes i greased the flex shafts when i just installed them. I will do the water tubing trick and run it tommo. I will just limit the time the boat sits still in the water. Will post the vids then.

I got a quick run in today. You have to tolerate my girlfriends barking dog to watch it though...lol My boat is in the shop so could only run it from my dock out back and don't have much room in my canal. I ran 4514 props on 4S 5300mah
